It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Birtle. The treatment and care I have received over the past 3 years for bladder cancer has been second to none. I have always been made to feel comfortable and at ease. I feel as though I can ask any question and get an honest and comprehensive answer. I have always been treated efficiently and with courtesy. When my wife and I first met Dr Birtle about the onset of my Prostate Cancer (aggressive). She was kind, caring and considerate and told us everything that was going to happen in the course of treatment and afterwards. She was confident, even promising my wife Susan that together we would beat it, so taking a lot of pressure off us, in the months ahead we did beat it! We have nothing but praise for Dr Birtle and her team, "she is the best".

A fantastic doctor that has overseen me for nearly 6 years. Always smiling and caring and has helped me greatly since my diagnosis. Also has a genuine interest in my life outside the hospital appointments which helps greatly at putting me at ease. Thank you Dr Birtle.

I have been under Dr Birtle's care for 6 years and every time I go to see her and her team at the Royal Preston I have been treated with the upmost respect and care by herself and her team and would urge anybody who is put under her care that you will be treated very well
